Earnings reported by Indian corporate sector continue to enthuse. Out of 172 companies, with over 1,000 Crores of Market Capitalisation, 138 have improved profitability while only 34 reported drop in profitability. It is heartening to note that profits improved by 8.87% for 138 companies while 34 companies have witnessed 5.72% drop in earnings.
From the second table you would notice that ratio of winners Vs losers is more profound as you move up in Market capitalization bucket categories.
